Web design uses all the same elements as print design. You need to explore the space and layout, handle fonts and colors, and put it all together in a format that puts your message across. These resources will help you learn Web design whether you are already a professional Web developer or just getting started in the Web arena.

Assignment:

  1. Go to the About.com Web Design Web Site http://webdesign.about.com/od/webdesignbasics/u/webdesignbasics.htm#s1

  2. Read the section designated below, then fill out the 2 Column Notes Reporting Form

List the main topics of the article. They are usually bolded and in blue.
Questions, connection, applications (Drawings), opinions, etc..
After reading the article fill in information that you find interesting, question, was wondering, about etc..
Ask your neighbors questions about the material you just read.
